Louis Vuitton Trevi PM; my review on this timeless classic

Whilst I am still intrigued with this new blogging thing, I decided that I might as well do a review on my Louis Vuitton Trevi PM. As I have owned the Trevi for around a year, I think I am relatively equipped in expressing my true thoughts on it :).

Louis Vuitton Damier Trevi PM
The Damier Trevi was initially released around 2007 and has become a permanent addition to the Louis Vuitton collection. Currently it is only available in the Damier Ebene canvas print in both PM and GM and retails for $2090 AUD (though I do remember it coming in the Damier Azur print a while back).

The specific particulars of the bag can be found here

Review of the Louis Vuitton Damier Trevi PM

In my opinion, the Trevi is one of the most sophisticated and feminine bags made by Louis Vuitton. Whilst it does emit a more mature and work-type vibe, I think it's still appropriate for all ages (even though I do carry it more for work rather than just going out). This bag comes with the red suede lining and two small side pockets which can store a phone, keys, a pen and makeup compact if needed. Although the picture may not depict this, but this bag is quite structured with a base that does not severely sag when filled. I don't know if it's just me, but I really don't like it when bags sag (or forms some kind of a dip or however you call it) because it just seems like the bag is overused or filled, so this is a major plus for me! The Trevi can be carried in the cradle of the arms or with the longer strap which gives the bag a more casual look, though I only ever use it when my bag gets a little too heavy and I can't be bothered using my arms.

So overall, the pros of the bag would be that its is: functional, sophisticated, structured, good size (can fit A4 documents), little maintenance required and is relatively uncommon.
A major pro of this bag is that it has really stays the same shape and colour even through use! I have worn this bag so many times out and have not ever been stressed about taking extra care because even after 1 year it looks EXACTLY the same as when I bought it :)
Whilst the cons of the bag (to me) are: the weightiness and that seems to be it!!
